Semco Systems Limited carries on the business of designing, engineering, manufacturing and installing high quality bulk chemical handling equipment systems for a wide variety of steel industry related applications. These systems include bulk storage and materials handling in which the process materials handled may be screened, sized, scaled, mixed, pumped, neutralized, stabilized, compounded or injected into a client's particular manufacturing process. The Semco bulk materials handling systems are designed to move the process materials from receiving, to storage, to final process consumption points in the most efficient and economical manner without compromising the long-term integrity of the client's facility or manufacturing process. 

Semco Systems Limited specializes in designing and building systems for the steel industry, including applications in the areas of water and wastewater treatment, industrial effluent and stack emissions control by dry sorbent chemicals injection systems, and EAF applications for impurity coagulation by lime injection into the EAF melt pot. These systems typically utilize chemical sorbent or reagent materials such as quicklime (CaO), lime slurry or hydrated lime [Ca(OH)²], soda ash (Trona), powdered activated carbon (PAC), MagOx (MgO) and polymer coagulant materials. Systems also include industrial heavy metal toxic sludge drying and encapsulation, (EPS) electrostatic precipitator dust agglomeration, cooling, neutralization, stabilization, encapsulation and reintroduction of EPS dust back into the steel making process.

All Semco Systems will incorporate specialty Semco manufactured or distributed components that together form the basis of the final engineered solution for the client. These system components could include, bolted or welded storage silos, glass lined silos, geodesic dome covered vessels, pneumatic conveying systems, dry and liquid chemical feed and metering devices, plow mixers, mixing and reaction vessels and process automation controls.
